Strictly For The Hood - Gangbangers In The Military - Daily Piff

A reader wanted my opinion on a gangbanger going into the marines. Here is the actual question:

"What you think about a gangbanger going into the marines? I don't like the system, f*ck the government bu I want that training and become a complete beast"

The Marines aint gonna make ya body bulletproof. You can get all that training you want but yo azz still won't be able to stop a bullet. When you say you want to go to become a "complete beast", it makes no sense to me unless you from an area where n*ggas don't get shot and mutha f*ckas run around fist fighting all night. A N*gga will creep up on yo azz and blow ya brains out doggie. Another thing is, if a n*gga know you got any type of training, whether it be Marines, Karate, Boxer, MMA, a n*gga is more likely to clap yo azz cause he feels a fist fight would be a waste of time cause he feels he would lose. So he says "f*ck it, I'm gonna shoot this n*gga." But to the question. I never even thought about going to do any military type sh*t but I respect n*ggas who have done it to the fullest. But if you think going to marines is somehow gonna make you an untouchable beast, it aint gonna happen UNLESS like I said before, n*ggas don't get shot and sh*t where you live and there are places like this, where n*ggas just fistfight. If somebody get shot in the leg, it be primetime news. Gangbanger to the marines? Why not, do ya thing but if that's the ONLY reason you want to go, is to become a complete beast. Not gonna happen. Not in 2011.

sean: young im in the army and in afghanistan chances are if you join the marines your ass aint gonna ever return to that gang lifestyle. the military aint meant to make you better aint being a gang banger and its stupid to think that. alot of us that are from round the way go here to make a buck that should be your focus and while here we make families and try to live the fucking dream like every other mother fucka. if you go and see a way out of a gang lifestyle then take advantage of that but it actually sounds like you not from no hood and actually it sounds more like you a poser. regardless if you go you will have a gang and its called the Marines. We over here in Afghanistan and with that stupid mentality you will most likely get killed you dont get be tough over here its better to be smart and try not to die. nobody gives a fuck about laws here and they are shooting assauly rifles so trust me if you do make it through bootcamp you coming here and if you go infantry you most likely die. its like shaking dice for your life. its gonna be a whole lot more to worry about then them niggaz on the corner

Never Fraud (Dallas): Let me ask you a question. After you become a "complete beast", what do you plan on doing??? What's the motivation behind it??? Fuck you trying to do... turn into the Incredible Hulk???? You wanna flip cars?? Climb buildings?? Uproot motherfucking trees??? I sorry to sound sarcastic, but I don't see the point.

Well just to let you know, once your in any branch of the military and even some high ranks of law enforcement, you become what the government calls a "trained weapon." Let me explain by giving an example. Lets say you get in a fight, and its your fault. You started it, and its not self-defense. You get arrested and charged with assault right? True, but the difference is your sentence will resemble a charge of assault with a weapon or intent to kill. The reason for this is because when you're in the military, you trained to defend yourself just incase you become disarmed. This means even if you don't have a weapon in some cases it still won't matter. Also "Uncle Sam" sees it as you represent him when you're in the military. By getting in trouble with the law you make him look bad, and "Uncle Sam" don't play that shit. So once you become the "complete beast" you were referring to, have fun doing 25 with a L for jaywalking.
